Increase your business…
The most obvious reason is to get more business, and the quarterly events and magazines create a perfect platform for you to do so. Attendees at the events are restricted to businesses within the park, pre-selected business-to-business guests, and clients and suppliers of the members. Keep Trade Local…
With the variety of businesses that we have in Brooklands, ranging from family attractions to fitness, storage to spas, and printing to property services, why would you want to search further afield when looking for a new service?
Support the community and corporate social responsibility…
For the larger organisations that aren’t public attractions or don’t offer their services directly to end users, the value in Business@Brooklands membership lies more in the community support, the communication of information that can be fed back to their staff and, finally, our corporate social responsibility (CSR) Forum. Membership for Business@Brooklands includes both the Brooklands area and the whole of the KT13 postcode. This boundary is outlined below.

Business@Brooklands has been proved to increase the business for many of its members. However, for some, membership isn’t just about getting new business. Companies have joined the initiative for many reasons including:-
- Being part of their community
- Fulfilling their corporate social responsibility policies
- Getting to know neighbouring businesses
- Sourcing new suppliers
If your company would like to join Business@Brooklands, then email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01483 735540.
Annual membership ranges from £100 + VAT for a single Business Listing on the website up to £450 + VAT which will give you access to all the features listed below.
For every new and renewing membership from June 2015, we will be setting aside 10% of the fees as donations to our 4 chosen charities. That balance is converted into tokens, each with a value that are given to the attendees at each quarterly event. They decide which charity receives that value, simply by dropping the token into a marked box… very much like the Waitrose system!

What our members say
“We’ve been members of Business @ Brooklands since it launched in 2011. It’s a great forum to meet with other businesses in the immediate vicinity of the hotel to share business updates, referrals, news and for general networking. The events are always very well attended and well organised. We are proud to be associated with Business @ Brooklands.”
Ceri Richardson, Sales Director, Brooklands Hotel
“We have been a proud member of the Brooklands community for over 20 years, formerly as Gallaher and since 2007 as JTI, following Gallaher’s acquisition by Japan Tobacco Inc. We’re thrilled that Business@Brooklands has given us an opportunity to meet and speak to other businesses in the local area and our thanks must go to Karen Sutton for setting up this fantastic initiative.”
Laura Oates – Corporate Affairs Manager, JTI
“Business@Brooklands has enabled Brooklands College to develop new and existing relationships with local business and they are an important partner in supporting the local community. We look forward to working with B@B on exciting new projects in the coming years.”
Sarah Moran – Sales Development Officer (Employer Training) – Brooklands College
“Before B@B started it was near impossible to get an introduction to any of the businesses in our estate. B@B has proved to be a great, informal way to meet contact persons at the member companies that we may require our services in the future and the other way round! Unlike other networking events I have attended in the past, there is no pushiness to make a sale and I can suggest that all businesses on the business park join up.”
Lionel Smith – Managing Director, The Storage Pod
“Attending our first event hosted by JTI in December, we were not only able to meet people that we’d lost contact with but also speak to others across the local business community, several of whom are in the same field of business. There is a surprisingly wide range of companies in our local area and the simple idea of bringing them all together on a regular basis can not only keep people in touch with what’s happening but also has the potential to create real business opportunities, something we could all do with in today’s challenging times. As a result, I’m looking forward to the next meeting.”
Chris Arnot – Director, M-Tec Limited
“The Business@Brooklands initiative is brilliant at bringing people and businesses together. One example of this was the communication relating to the recent Byfleet Road closure. It was a major issue for all trades in Brooklands and we at Marks & Spencer appreciated the effort involved in creating a ‘voice for Brooklands’, communicating our thoughts to Surrey County Council and UK Power Networks, which in turn reduced the disruption to a minimum and to the benefit of us all. Coming together, that’s all it takes!”
Genine Thorn-Davis – Brooklands Marks & Spencer Security Dept.
“Meadows Ryan Solicitors Ltd have been a member of Business@Brooklands for a couple of years. We find the networking events useful and informative and it is always enjoyable meeting with others from local businesses. We use the Business@Brooklands website to post events and articles and find out what other members events are being held. Limelight keep us updated, design our business banners and promote positive introductions and interactions between the businesses and key personnel. Meadows Ryan Solicitors attend regularly and a number of connections and business relationships have resulted from our membership and attendance. The Business@Brooklands CSR committee continues to grow in strength and Meadows Ryan Solicitors are keen to play an active part in promoting and contributing time and resources to the local community groups and projects.“
Lynn Sutton-Bunnell – Partner, Meadows Ryan
“Brooklands Museum very much sees itself as part of the local community so we have welcomed the opportunity to host several Business@Brooklands events, which have enabled us to not only meet people from many local companies, but also show them first-hand what we have to offer. We look forward to being part of the continuing success of the Business@Brooklands initiative.”
Valerie Mills – Commercial Director, Brooklands Museum
