DHP have been working to complete an upgrade and an internal and external refurbishment of a grade II listed cottage. Number 7 Church Hill is an 18th century, detached, grade II listed flint cottage. It sits at the very top of Church Hill in Slindon, a village in the South Downs National Park and is owned by the National Trust.
The cottage was in poor condition and required extensive works to achieve statutory compliance, to allow the Trust to accommodate tenants. Work required on this property included external repairs, a new kitchen, a new bathroom, plastering, finishes and new services, such as heating and hot water systems and electrical services.
We are happy to report that this beautiful property is now occupied. The cottage was fully refurbished internally and externally and the building structure, defects and repairs were all completed leaving the property in excellent condition.
