The Eikon Charity is on the hunt for people who are passionate about our work and are willing to go out into the community to spread the word of Eikon’s work!
The Eikon Charity supports vulnerable young people in Surrey who have disadvantaged backgrounds and at-risk of crisis. Eikon introduces preventative approaches to ensure issues do not escalate and become life-changing challenges. Many of the young people Eikon work with are on the verge of homelessness, exclusion from school, committing crimes, getting involved in drug and alcohol abuse, self harming, or suffering from mental health issues or family crisis.
Eikon work in Secondary schools, Youth Centres and conduct Mobile Outreach programmes to target hard-to-reach young people. Eikon aims to create happy, thriving and resilient young people who contribute positively to society.
Becoming an Eikon Ambassador is the perfect opportunity for outgoing individuals who enjoy meeting new people. The role can fit around you, and can take as much or as little time as you are willing to donate. Activities can include any of the following:
• Hosting a support group
• Managing collection tins in your area
• Giving talks about Eikon to community groups
• Organising your own events to raise vital funds
• Anything you think will help promote our work in your area!
Full training and support given across all areas.
Eikon are heavily in need of support from the local community and your involvement in our cause can make all the difference.
